Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using L'Atelier ("the Service"), a Google Meet add-on for remote collaboration through instant video meetings, virtual desks, and virtual rooms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, available at latelier.cloud/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
L'Atelier is a lightweight add-on integrated with Google Meet and Google Workspace, enabling small businesses to collaborate via instant video meetings, virtual desks for signaling availability, and virtual rooms for group interactions. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified to enhance functionality.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use L'Atelier. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service lawfully, respectfully, and in compliance with these Terms.
- Comply with Google Meet and Google Workspace terms of service.
- Not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its servers.
- Not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
- Respect the privacy and rights of other users.
- Not use the Service for illegal activities, harassment, or any purpose that violates applicable laws.
5. Account and Subscription
L'Atelier offers a free tier with basic features and optional paid tiers for advanced functionalities. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate billing information for paid subscriptions.
- Paying all applicable fees as described in the Service's pricing terms.
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.
Refunds, if applicable, are handled at our discretion. Contact support@latelier.cloud for billing inquiries.
6. Intellectual Property
L'Atelier, including its logo, virtual workspace design, and features, is owned by L'Atelier and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service's content or design without our prior written consent. User-generated content (e.g., avatars, display names) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely to provide the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, L'Atelier and its affiliates, officers, or agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
- Non-payment of subscription fees.
- Misuse of the Service or violation of Google Meet or Google Workspace terms.
- Interference with the Service's operation.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your account data, subject to our Privacy Policy.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service interface. Continued use of L'Atelier after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA), Argentina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of CABA, Argentina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from your use of the Service will be resolved through litigation in the courts of CABA, Argentina, unless we mutually agree to alternative methods, such as arbitration.
